A keyboard for iPhone and iPad

Tap roughly. Get the right word.

Klavette reads where your thumb lands and works out the word you meant. Type with one thumb on one thin row, or swipe up for a full keyboard when you want every key.

Coming soon to the App Store Email me at launch

English only. Needs iOS 26.2 or later.

Illustration: each key is a column of the keyboard, and the bar shows the words your taps most likely mean.

For iPhone Duo owners

A keyboard that fits the narrow screen.

Fold the Duo and the outer screen is narrow. A full keyboard crowds out the page you are typing into. Klavette's single row leaves room to see what you write.

Folded: one row

The Mini keyboard is one thin row, so the narrow outer screen stays usable for the message, the note or the page above it.

Built for one thumb

Tap roughly with your thumb, swipe right to accept the word, swipe left to delete it. No chasing small keys across a narrow screen.

Unfolded: dock or split

On the inner screen, dock the keyboard to the left or right edge, or split it with one half on each edge, the same as on iPad.

Designed for the folded outer screen and the unfolded inner screen. Mini, docking and Split are part of Klavette Pro.

For big thumbs and busy hands

You do not have to aim.

Tap roughly in the right place and get the right word. One thumb, on a train, walking, with a bag on the other arm.

Taps are forgiven

Klavette reads where you meant to tap, not only where you landed. A drifting thumb still gets the word you had in mind most of the time.

It learns your words

Names, slang and shorthand are picked up as you type. Long-press a suggestion to make it forget something for good.

Wrong word? Flick it

Swipe up and to the left to swap the word you just typed for the next best one, without retyping.

Precise when you need it

Swipe up on the suggestion bar for a full QWERTY keyboard with glide typing, then swipe down to go back.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Tap near the letters

Each key on the row is a column of the usual keyboard. Tap once per letter. The bar above fills with the words your taps most likely mean.

  2. Swipe right

Swipe right to put in the highlighted word and a space. Or tap another suggestion. Nothing goes in until you choose it.

  3. Flick to fix

Wrong word? Flick up and to the left to swap it. Swipe left to delete a word. Need exact letters? Swipe up for the full keyboard.

The first-run lessons in the app teach each gesture on a practice field, and you can stop at any point.

Free and Pro

The full keyboard is free. Forever.

Klavette Pro adds the one-row Mini keyboard, plus docking and Split on iPad and the unfolded iPhone Duo.

Questions

Quick answers.

Does it work without Full Access?

Yes. Full Access is recommended, not required. It lets your settings and learned words reach the keyboard and turns on Pro's Mini keyboard. The full keyboard works without it.

Does Klavette see what I type?

Not unless you choose to share it. Typing stats stay on your device, and password and other sensitive fields are never recorded. Uploading stats to the developer is off until you turn it on. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. The privacy policy has the details.

Which languages does it support?

English only for now.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Klavette. Apple handles cancellations and refunds.
